MITCH MCCONNELL IS THE REASON THE SHUTDOWN CONTINUES.
Friends the Democrats have passed bills and sent them to the Senate as is the procedure to open the government. Mitch McConnell says he will not put these bills to a vote in the Senate unless the President agrees to sign them. THIS IS A GIANT LIE on the part of McConnell.
Trump said he was going to sign the bill to end the shutdown in December and when passed and it came to his desk he refused to sign. THE POINT IS THAT YOU CAN BELIEVE NOTHING TRUMP SAYS. Two years have proven that fact.
McConnell needs to put the House Bills up for a vote, if they pass send them to the President. If Trump vetoes the bills then votes need to be taken to override the veto.
In other words force Trump's hand. McConnell saying he can depend on Trump to sign or not sign anything is a gross lie. No one knows what goes on in a crazy man's head.
The next thing I expect to hear from Trump is that we are doing fine without all those government employees not working so just end all their jobs and save a whole lot of money. Does anyone think he will not put forth that argument?
435 members of the House of Representative and 100 members of the Senate and Trump and McConnell have successfully shutdown the government. Trump and McConnell = 2 have shut down 534 elected Senators and Representatives from keeping the government open.
Friends that is not a democracy. That is not a working democracy. American Democracy is seriously flawed as proven by the current shutdown.
And I want to repeat our enemies of the US, Russia and China are taking notes. America looks weak because of Trump and McConnell. And weakness promotes war.
The House has done its part. Keep that in mind. The House has passed legislation to open the government. It has been blocked by McConnell and the Senate Republicans. It is a black and white issue.
It is time for a change and no one but me, Dr John WorldPeace JD, has a solution which is an independent presidency. All Washington is quiet. All the experience of these Representatives and Senators cannot open the government because two men, Trump and McConnell are playing games with America.
AMERICAN DEMOCRACY NEEDS SOME RULES TO STOP THIS INSANITY FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. Have you heard any suggestions from all those Democrats who have declared they are running for President in 2020. NO NO NO YOU HAVE NOT.
